Fred Schaeffer’s Bridge to Somewhere

Fred Schaeffer, 2010 Heart of Green Local Hero, was the catalyst for creating Walkway Over the Hudson State Park, which is both one of the world’s longest pedestrian bridges and an antidote for what ails one struggling city.
